JEB BROWN

BIO
Jeb Brown maintains a Houston-based law practice specializing in the acquisitions, sales, financing, leases, joint ventures, and restructuring of real estate. He represents sellers, purchasers and developers across the real estate spectrum, including office buildings, golf courses and country clubs, master-planned residential projects, industrial, retail and restaurant projects, and multifamily projects.

Mr. Brown advises businesses through the process of raising equity funds from private and institutional investors, and negotiating debt transactions with lending institutions. Mr. Brown also advises real estate equity fund managers in connection with the creation, negotiation, and operation of these investment vehicles.

Mr. Brown began his career as an attorney in Austin, practicing land use, real estate development law, legislative affairs, and real estate litigation. Formerly with the firm of Winstead, Sechrest & Minick, P.C., Jeb moved to Houston in 2000 to become general counsel of what is now Americus Real Estate Investments, Inc., a real estate development, finance and fund management firm. While maintaining his relationship with Americus, Jeb started his own practice in April of 2005 .

MONICA CORONADO
OPERATIONS
BIO
Monica Coronado joined the firm in March 2021 and has since progressed into an Operations role, where she plays a key part in supporting the firm’s operational effectiveness and internal functions. She brings a strong background in organizational management, cross-departmental coordination, and executive support within complex, fast-paced professional environments.
Prior to joining the firm, Monica served as a Resource Manager for an Engineering Center in Monterrey, Mexico, overseeing personnel coordination and operational planning. She has also supported senior leadership at large oil and gas corporations in Houston, Texas. In 2016, Monica relocated to Mexico City to join one of the country’s leading corporate law firms, where she provided high-level support across multiple practice areas, including Aviation, Banking and Finance, Competition and Antitrust, and Environmental and Social Impact.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Monica has led a charitable program for over a decade, providing ongoing support to children in rural communities in her home country.

MARIA E. CECCARELLO
LEGAL ASSISTANT
BIO
Maria E. Ceccarello joined the firm in September 2025 as a Legal Assistant, where she supports the attorneys through a broad range of administrative and transactional functions that contribute to the firm’s operational efficiency. Her responsibilities include managing legal documentation, coordinating governmental filings, and supporting day-to-day office operations. She is a certified Texas Notary Public and is authorized to notarize legal documents in support of client and firm needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Maria developed a strong background in administrative and operational roles across multiple industries. She held a key position at an elevator solutions company, where she supported payroll administration, permitting processes, client communications, and overall office operations. Her professional experience also includes international exposure in Venezuela, where she provided support in sales coordination and office management.
Fluent in Spanish and English, with intermediate proficiency in Italian, Maria brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented approach to supporting attorneys and clients in a fast-paced legal environment.
